Theragāthā — Versos dos Monges Anciãos — 2.49 — Sandhita

1Beneath the Bodhi Tree,
bright green and growing,
being mindful, my perception
became one with the Buddha.

2It’s been thirty one eons
since I gained that perception;
and it’s due to that perception
that I’ve attained the ending of defilements.
